Goals!

The Spoiler prize for best individual performance…

… goes to… Lionel Messi!

Yes, not long now until the season is totally over. Just a couple of minor cup competitions to wrap up. Anyway, to celebrate, above is a clip of the time that Arsenal got in there with the first punch, which only angered the giant more, so Barcelona ripped them to shreds. Quite probably the second best game of the season (behind the first leg), and definitely the best individual performance that The Spoiler has seen.

If you can think of a better one, do let us know.

Now go, have a fun weekend, enjoy the FA Cup final. And should you get bored at any point, why not check out some of our hilarious World Cup Profiles.

Oh come on, will you spoiler dildos get off Barca’s huge Catalan d***. You just get the feeling the British media like to see their teams humiliated in Europe. Shameful.

… Jam, you’re saying this isn’t the best individual performance of the season?

  • Jam // May 15, 2010 at 3:14 am

No, that was not. Messi scored 4 flashy goals against a non-existent defence. Plus, the gunners had something like half the team out. Basically, thats what happens when you allow the best player in the world to target practice against you. Inter showed everyone how to defend properly against him.

The best individual display from any player was Xavi v Real Madrid at Bernabeu. It was football from another planet he was playing. But he didnt score 4 goals so his performance doesnt really matter to some people.

Aren’t you doing the same thing that you accused them of? Which was “spoiler dildos get off Barca’s huge Catalan d***” (which is impossible by the way. Sheesh think before you type you moron)

I couldn’t pick between those 2 performances, as well, Xavi passed the ball with brilliance but it wouldn’t have been remember as brilliantly if they hadn’t scored from those passes. Messi gets the nod however on the basis that he scored 4 AND the fact that he ran past a defense (albeit a shoddy defense but still letting someone run through you 4 times is just appalling and they weren’t that bad) AND the fact that he passed the ball well in that game. Look at his slide-rule pass for the second goal.

Matt, thanks for pointing out that its impossible for ride the spoiler dildos to ride you Barca’s you know what…you’re obviously one of those guys who takes everything quiet literally…get some sense of humour, Jeez.

This is one of my fav footy sites on the web, but i didnt like the way they covered that particular tie. I thought they were too pro Barca, and that they actually enjoyed seeing Arsenal getting knocked-out.

Anyways, i’ve expressed exactly how i felt about it; the spoiler people can take a few industrial words since they have some sense of humour.

Dont know why you’re offended…unless you work for the spoiler ( in that case i’m sorry, you dont ride Barca’s huge Catalan penis…please forgive me ;)
