Hollywood superstud thumbs nose at his homeland
McConaughey – great in… erm… something?
It wasn’t so long ago that The Spoiler put together a very detailed list of some rather surprising celebrity football supporters, and now here’s another one.
For those who don’t keep up with what’s going on in Hollywood, the above actor is Matthew McConaughey – he’s kind of like a millionaire’s Woody Harrelson – and he’s starred in some wonderful films, including: Tiptoes, Paparazzi, Two for the Money. You might also remember him from Glory Daze.
Anyway, a bona fide American, it appears that his countrymen can sod off and lose, because he’s nailed his colours to Brazil. Charming.

His wife is Brazilian so it’s not entirely out-of-bounds.

Actually, the day before he was wearing USA gear so he’s a fan of both teams. Especially considering his girlfriend is Brazilian.
