BET OF THE DAY
Make money on England getting off to an early start
We’re sure to see a goal in the first ten minutes against Algeria
If you listened to The Spoiler yesterday, you would’ve doubled your cash on France and Mexico‘s half-time stalemate. There’s further chance to win some coin in England‘s clash with Algeria tonight.
England have scored the opening goal in the first ten minutes of a match in six of their last 11 games, and four of their last five competitive internationals. We reckon its worth lumping a tenner on that trend continuing tonight. As insurance, you could put part of your outlay on 11-20 minutes – 60% of the World Cup games that have had a goal in the first half have had it scored within 17 minutes.

So what’s it like having expectations of your team to [possibly] win the world cup and then come up empty in their game against Algeria? Glad I’m not from England.

Truth is, the US are now more likely to qualify, seeing as their opponents are the lesser of the two.
