Stubborn Japanese defence won’t stop Danes progressing

Tonight’s match decides who’ll make it out of Group E

Despite hitting a slightly bumpy patch recently, The Spoiler is tipping its betting cap to an even jauntier angle and soldiering on in our quest to make some money off this year’s World Cup.

Today we’re backing Denmark to overcome Japan and qualify as Group E runners-up. After a 2-0 defeat against Holland in their opening group game, the Danes bounced back with a 2-1 win over Cameroon and an impressive performance from Nicklas Bendtner.

Japan’s ultra-efficient defence has proved stubborn in this year’s tournament, but with the Scandinavians desperate to prevent a draw, Bendtner, Rommedahl, Gronkjaer and co. should find enough craft and guile to create those crucial chances.

Maybe they suspect the true outcome and they are getting people to bet the other way so they can make more cash.
