Both teams had the same number of points and the same goal differential. If England had scored one more goal in their game against Slovenia, then they would have had the superior goal differential. It's time to let Robert Green's one mistake go. It's not as if Calamity James played well against Germany. At least one, if not two, of Germany's goals could have been stopped by a better keeper.
