Whereas most people are so unaccustomed to spitting that when they do little flecks spray in every direction, followed by an awkward bubbling stringy bit that somehow ends up dangling from your chin, footballers have made it into an art form.
Skills, hair, spit – Cristiano Ronaldo has got the lot. As he proved last night, by allowing a cameraman to film a short demonstration of how to correctly drain your mouth of surplus saliva/phlegm. Take note kids.
