Eric Cantona penciled in to battle pompous timelord

If you happen to be a fan of both Man United and the hit BBC television programme, Doctor Who, then today is probably the best day of your life.
According to the ooh ahh Daily Star, Eric Cantona is being lined up to play an evil alien on the show.
Of course, the French equivalent of Vinnie Jones is no stranger to the thespian world, having already played the part of a Manchester United footballer called “Eric Cantona” in the movie Looking for Eric.
A “BBC insider” said this:
“They like the thought of a French baddie and Eric would be perfect. He’s got acting experience and has charisma.”
