Fabregas – training for next season?
People who enjoy hearing about other people’s holidays will be delighted to know that Frank Lampsie has taken his bed partner, Christine Bleakley, to Sardinia, where they have been spotted horsing around in swimming costumes with their pals, the Redknapps. Not to mention the Redknapp’s pals, the Scott Parkers.
Of particular note is the way in which Jamie Redknapp likes to consume his drinks – packed with ice, and supped whilst IN the pool. Kids, do NOT take note. He’s being a very naughty boy.
Anyway, here’s what we know about football transfers, thanks to the likes of the Daily Mail, the ooh ahh Daily Star, and The Mirror:
It’s all go at Barcelona, with rumours abound that once Yaya Toure completes his Manchester reunion with Kolo, Javier Mascherano will be immediately ushered in to take his place. The word on the street being that Barca have put aside £25million to ensure that he doesn’t trot after Rafa Benitez and end up at Inter.
After a couple of weeks of putting two and two together as Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets get to play for Spain whilst he sits on the bench, it seems that Fabregas has realised that going back to Barcelona mightn’t be that good after all. That one’s back in the balance.
As is the transfer of one of this year’s World Cup stars, Mesut Ozil. The whisper being that Arsenal and Barcelona will also be doing battle over his beautiful German thumb print while they’re at it.
