Rooney loses to Tevez in World Cup beauty contest
Tevez is the hottie on the right, newcomers
For those unfamiliar with a website called Beautiful People – it’s some kind of dating commune for people who are really hot stuff.
It’s also home to the 2010 Beautiful People World Cup – a fun feature, which allows gorgeous members of the public to judge World Cup players by looks, deeming some to be really sexy, whilst simultaneously crippling Wayne Rooney’s sexual confidence.
As things stand, North Korea are considered to be the ugliest team, whilst Spain are the runaway winners, despite the valiant efforts of Carles Puyol.
At the top of the individual hotties list, tightening trousers on a global scale, you’ll find handsome chaps including: Santa Cruz, van Persie and Fernando Torres.
Whilst cloaked and lurking in a figurative bell tower somewhere are all of the usual suspects: Dirk Kuyt, Franck Ribery, Carlos Tevez, and England’s Wayne Rooney - who has now officially been deemed a “very ugly” man.
A spokesmen for the site, Greg Hodge, said this (as reported in The Telegraph):
“The England team do have very beautiful wives and girlfriends, but this is surely due to their bank accounts which certainly makes them a lot more attractive.”
Ouch.
