Big fashion house set to make lovely Chelsea FC suits
If you squint – JT and Ray Wilkins
Fans of all things swishy will recognise the two smartly dressed gentlemen in the above picture. They’re Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, darling. You know, as in Dolce and Gabbana. As in clothes.
Well, the big news rocking the angular fashion world (ie. making people with enormous glasses silently whimper without changing expression) is that these professional clothes makers are going to be dressing Chelsea footballers for the next three years.
According to Wikipedia:
“Dolce&Gabbana (spelled without spaces, unlike the name of the company) specializes in luxury items, is influenced more by designers and is more formal and ‘timeless’, responding to long-term trends rather than seasonal changes.”
Which basically means that they make suits.
The fashion house has previously worked with AC Milan, and shall now have the pleasure of dressing great lookers like Lampsie, Malouda, JT, Yossi Benayoun, and Carlo Ancelotti.
They said this in a statement (as reported on Eurosport):
“We are big football fans, for us it means healthy competition, intense passion and great discipline.”

Fashion designers would generate much more news coverage if they took on the worst-dressed EPL team and turned them into GQ models. (e.g., Manchester City)
