Khedira signs for Real Madrid, Ozil keeps schtum

After a week of pretty much sod all, the silky net curtains that drape down in front of the transfer window have been splattered with sweat and little bits of hair gel, as Sami Khedira has tumbled through and been ushered off to sunny Spain.
Apparently his Real Madrid move is a done deal, with medical examinations done, and only a long discussion about whether or not Spanish fans would take to his small designer beard pending.
In other hot German news, the magnifying glass has now shifted to Mesut Ozil, who now has one of the most sought after sloppy thumb prints in the business.
He only has a year left on his Werder Bremen contract, and Real are reportedly very much in the running.
As reported on the popular Spanish site Marca, the dreamy attacker was recently accosted by a nosy parker, and would only say this on the matter:
“I love Spain.”
That one’s in the bag, then.
