Robinho misses out on Barca move by being troublesome

R.O.B.I.N.H.O spells “Trouble”

Robinho

Like an early 1990s Mickey Rourke, Robinho is increasingly looking like a man with buckets of talent who no one particularly wants to work with.

He’s all but disappeared from Man City minds, he’s been half-heartedly linked with some minor European clubs, and – as spotted by our pals at Dirty Tackle – Barcelona were umming and ahhring a bit, before Guardiola made it clear that he has no interest in trouble makers.

A quote from the popular Spanish website Sport.es translates thusly:

The Mr. Blaugrana knows that one of the major cornerstones of the team’s success over the past two seasons has been the magnificent chemistry and he will not risk the City striker disturbing that peace. Therefore, Robinho will stay back at the gates of Barça, and the doors will not open while Guardiola is still in command.

Like the great Mickey Rourke, would Robinho be wise to undergo some extensive facial surgery? Figuratively speaking.

I’m so sick of this guy.

No idea what you’re on about. We know he’s troublesome. So does everyone else. He needs to take several steps back down the ladder, professionally speaking, and in his own estimation.

If he was a bit more predictable and a lot less petulant and disruptive – and happy to sit on the bench for the greater good – he’d be worth keeping.

But he isn’t. So he isn’t. Case closed.

He seemd quite happy at City until that genius Mark Huges shipped Elano out, Funnily enough he seemed to lose his way shortly after that. He’s world class and no mistake. Definatley some ego issues, but he’s not on his own there.
