Pele has a quiet word with Neymar… it doesn’t work

Kids, do as Pele says… or not… your choice

The whisper echoing across the many oceans is that Santos managed to enlist the help of the fourth or fifth greatest footballer ever - Pele - in a bid to stop Neymar from leaving the club and moving to Chelsea.

Only it hasn’t entirely worked.

Apparently, the lure of £55,000/week might be too much for the teenager to resist. Not to mention the £25million that Chelsea are willing to stump up for his sloppy thumb print.

And in other transfer news:

Tottenham are the latest in a long line of clubs to be linked with the hot young striker, Loic Remy.

Rafael Van der Vaart might be staying at Real Madrid after all, despite the arrival of Mesut Ozil.

And Ramires has been described as “the new Essien”. Which must be rather disconcerting for “the actual Essien”.

Yeah Jon…I also don’t like any joking when reading this website!!

Also, does this mean that Santos won’t be gong to the FA over the Chelsea advances? Just wondering if anyone else knew.

C’mon anyone who doesn’t think Pele is the greatest player ever just doesn’t like him. His ego is huge, but the guy could play, heck teams had to resort to cheating just to get him out of matches.

As for Neymar, he shouldn’t go to Chelsea, especially if Santos is offering 40,000 Pounds a week, that’s still 109,000 in Reis. He’s not built for the Premiership, Italy, Spain, or Portugal would be a better fit.
