SETTLE A DEBATE

Is William Gallas a sensible signing for Tottenham?

Friday afternoon work-dodging debate

Since everyone had so much to say about Joe Cole’s defender-crushing tackle on Monday (it was actually an interesting debate, cheers), here’s another question that’s been splitting opinions in offices up and down the land today.

Harry says it’s a ‘no-brainer’. Take that as you will.

My head says we need veteran cb cover and a fairly talented guy on a free and taking a pay cut is good business.
My heart thinks my head should go f*ck itself.
The whole thing feels wrong, but hey, any chance to get a guy not good enough for the french national squad seems like a GREAT idea.

I wish it was a big deal but it’s not. Gone are the days where this type of move was shocking.

Will this mean Sol escapes the boos when he turns out against Spurs for the Toon? Somehow I doubt it, the poor bugger.

Great deal, although bitter Arsenal fans, the small time delusional spurs fans and others who only never watch him play say different.

He was the best defender in the league for the first few months of last season and is an experienced winner who will be a good influence on the collection of flakes and fakers who currently reside there.

    From an Arsenal fan
