Limited edition Millwall shirts inspired by A-Team hardman
I pity the proof reader! (sorry)
Following on from Cardiff City’s “Bellam 3″ fiasco last week, it looks like Millwall are dealing with a shirt shortage of their own.
There’s been huge demand for this season’s 125th anniversary home strip, which proudly bears the Lions’ maxim “We Fear No Foe” on the back, leading to the club shop emptying out in double quick time.
However, according to Mirror Football, the Championship side had ordered more than enough stock to cope with demand.
Things only went tits up when Millwall officials opened the first batch of shirts to find their fearless club motto had been replaced with the comparatively tame “We Fear No Foo” – meaning all 5,000 strips had to be hastily returned.
