Should Don Fabio give Paul Scholes an England recall?

Thursday afternoon idle chatter

Only weeks after feverishly banging on about the desperate need for young blood in the England team post World Cup 2010, the UK’s tabloid press are now on a rather antithetical mission to drum up support for 35-year-old Paul Scholes being roped back into the Three Lions’ fold, so he can get down and dirty with the nation’s forthcoming European Championship qualifying run.

What The Spoiler wants to know is, considering a) the Ginger Ninja’s creaking legs can just about withstand the rigours of league football, and b) need for new faces within Fabio Capello’s squad is a genuine and rather imperative one, is there ANYBODY out there that reckons it’s a decent idea?

need a clean slate otherwise we’ll end up like the french problem, always relying on zidane, that when he’s gone the team is a mess eg. 2010 world cup

That would be a really quick way to get on Fergie’s bad side.
