Mario Balotelli has wrecked his high-powered supercar already
Manchester City forward in luxury car pile-up
Apparently, the only thing worse than Mario Balotelli‘s wardrobe is his driving.
The 20-year-old totalled his £120,000 customised Audi R8 as he made his way to training to Manchester City‘s training ground in Carrington on Saturday morning. That’ll teach him for getting one of those indescribably tacky matte paint jobs.
Heading out on what was reportedly his first solo drive to work since moving Up North, the forward was minutes away from completing his trip before he got into a rather nasty prang with a BMW on the A56. Balotelli escaped unhurt, although his motor, which was brought with him from Italy, was left with one of its wheels hanging off.
A City official said:
The club can confirm there was an incident this morning near the training ground. Mario crashed his Audi into a BMW but, thankfully, emerged unhurt. He was able to train as normal and no police charges have been brought against any party.
Mario might want to consider using a private jet to get to training instead. Much safer.
