Jamie Redknapp gets all wound up about Fernando Torres

The Redknapps – down to earth

Ladies, don’t be fooled by the over-tailored trousers and the Take That good looks, when Jamie “Jarhead” Redknapp doesn’t like what he sees, he’s prone to going loco.

For those who missed him frothing at the mouth on Sky yesterday, here was his calm summary of Fernando Torres’s performance:

“Out there for 45 minutes today he has been terrible. He hasn’t got hold of the ball, he hasn’t chased, he’s got frustrated, he could have been booked, he’s been diabolical.”

Jamie went on to point out:

“I’m his biggest fan.”

Has he got a point? Liverpool fans, it’s time to speak out about this…

Obviously, Liverpool fans will be hurt and distressed by Redknapp’s insightful comments. It is a worrying sign when an ex-player remembered almost as fondly as Stig Inge Byornebye criticises our star striker.

I think Jamie was absolutely right, Torres was c**p yesterday, I wish I could have said what I thought of him on Sky Sports yesterday! Basically, he was kicked out of the game and no decisions went his way, which he couldn’t seem to deal with and it affected his game. Problem being is that this is what the whole season is going to be like for you Fernando.

Torres is a class player and jamie are you another one of these ex players who go on tv shoutin your mouth off about a club that you once loved. everyone is entitled to there opinon but jamie should of kept his to himself, and to go on an say your Torres biggest fan if that was true then you wouldnt critisise the lad you would support him. every1 has a bad game you had your fair share in your time!!!

As if anyone gives a tinkers toss about your opinion ‘Red Spain’ – maybe if it was ‘Red Huyon’ or ‘Red Toxteth’ people would…

Redknapp’s just another little gnat trying to stay on the gravy train by creating headlines.

I’d rather have Torres on a shit day than Redknapp on a good one, that’s for sure.

For what it’s worth though, Torres was a bit lacking yesterday but lets be subjective – the lad’s only just back from a serious injury, which was compounded by another injury sustained whilst playing INJURED!

    He’s played 3 games FFS.
