Arsenal forced to change by mobile phone light as Partizan are hit by power cuts
Gunners still managed to play out a 3-1 victory
Arsenal were plunged into darkness as they got ready to face Partizan Belgrade last night, after a series of stadium power cuts.
After the short spell of giggling and hyperactivity which always occurs when a room’s lights unexpectedly go out, the players were forced to strip off by using mobile phones as torches.
Considering Partizan’s deafening support and the club’s nickname ‘The Gravediggers’, we wouldn’t be surprised if a few of Arsenal’s ‘kids’ spent most of the pre-match preparation huddled in fear in a corner of the changing room.
