Wes Brown frozen out at Man Utd after row with Fergie
No Man City-style ‘your mum’ cusses, though
Wes Brown hasn’t seen one minute of Premier League action for Manchester United so far this season and The Sun reckon they know why.
It appears young Wesley (who actually turns 31 on Wednesday – never fails to amaze The Spoiler just how much of Brown’s career has been spent waiting for him to come good) is in Sir Alex’s bad books after a furious argument during the club’s pre-season tour of America.
Brown is said to have got into a stand-up row with Fergie when the United gaffer discovered he had joined teammates on a night out from which he was meant to be banned.
Ferguson was reportedly ‘incandescent’ after Wesley, perhaps tired of seeing a pensionable man constantly losing his rag over every little thing, refused to back down in the argument. The defender has started two games since.
The Sun claim Brown now fears he has been pushed to the top of Man Utd’s ‘outgoings’ pile, with Sunderland a possible destination.
Perhaps Wes shouldn’t be too worried. Remember when Nani crossed SAF late last year? He managed to escape the chop and even got a new four year contract for his trouble. Maybe Fergie is getting soft in his old age.
