Desperate FA flogging England v France tickets to locals for £5
Bargain…?
The FA are offering people living around Wembley Stadium the chance to see England‘s ‘battle of the dysfunctional losers’ friendly against France on November 17th for just a fiver, in a desperate attempt to boost attendance.
Only 44,000 tickets have been sold for the game a week on Wednesday, forcing the FA to post 70,000 leaflets around the borough of Brent pleading for locals to come and watch the match at cut-price.
Taking cues from Radiohead’s In Rainbows sales model, if you had a choice, what’s the most (reasonable) amount you’d pay to watch an England friendly at Wembley?

I’d pay a hell of a lot more for any Radiohead album than I would to go to that game.

I love England. The people here so nice. I go to Ibiza and have a fun time but then I come back here. It is nice. <3

If they throw in free round-trip airfare from Madison, Wisconsin, I’d be all-in for that game.
