West Ham chairman David Gold has an exciting family life

One of the Two Davids lets slip a strange story

Hammers owner David Gold has just been banned from his former club’s stadium for tomorrow’s game against Birmingham, in retribution for calling current Brum vice-chairman Peter Pannu ‘disgusting’ during an interview published this morning.

Still, that wasn’t anywhere near the most eyebrow-raising comment he made during said chat:

I look back at the things in my life that have driven me. Getting out of poverty was a big driving force. Discovering that my father, my wife and my best friend all cheated on me on the same day, that became a driving force.

Erm… right. Anyone know any more about this one?
