The Big Reveal!

A-Z of Premier League top scorers REVEALED!

A is no longer for…

Well, that went well.

The Spoiler is very much of the opinion that you should learn something new every day, so thank you Spoiler readers for today’s lesson, which is this: an online mental challenge is probably roughly as appealing as your grandparents turning up on Christmas Eve with a 500,000 piece jigsaw puzzle as a treat.

To the two of you who did grace our appeal with a comment, thanks for taking the time. And to those who couldn’t be arsed, or were simply too bored by the idea to pay it any thought, after the jump is the full A-Z of Premier League top scorers.

You’re very welcome.

Van is a preposition in the Dutch and Afrikaans languages, meaning “of” or “from”.

therefore as an english translation Ruud ‘from’ Nistelrooy.

therefore from that interpretation his surname is “Nistelrooy”.

I can’t stop lollllllling at “Van isn’t his first name”. There’s only room for one Van in this world, and Ruud is not that man.

To the shit pedant – his name over here is Van Nistelrooy. It doesn’t matter what it means in Dutch. My name means Saint of Sausages.
