No corruption? Yer killin' me, Blatter. Improve your image? It's the content, not the pretty packaging, that has gotten people so worked up. Pity nothing about giving new countries a chance was mentioned BEFORE awarding the bid to Russia and Qatar. In the past it's been all about who could put on the best World Cup for the fans, not which country will win Sepp Blatter a Nobel Prize for humanitarian work. So, ignoring history and any practical reasons for choosing a host, yeah, Blatter could have chosen Iceland, Qatar, Haiti or a million other small countries that don't have the infrastructure, history, or competitive football team to properly host this event. As far as the comment about Christianity, that is a lame sop to your Middle East friends who bribed most members of FIFA to land 2022. But, I have to hand it to Blatter--no one is talking about goal line technology or using the 4th official to review instant replays anymore. Bwahaha! No corruption? Yer killin’ me, Blatter.
