Surely if Leicester have the cash to pay for some of Becks' wages, they could afford to buy some of the talent that is on show in the lower leagues? True they finished fifth last season but that was under Nigel Pearson, Sven took over a side languishing in the relegation zone and his record is already head and shoulders above Paulo Sousa's (even in these early days). Any credibility Sven had post-England has been drowned in his off-the-field antics, heading for wherever a note is flashed, but give credit where its due and don't jump on the bandwagon - so far, his start at Leicester has been upbeat and encouraging. Perhaps there is a manager in there after all. Remember where Leicester were before Sven took over.
