Middlesbrough could be ready to sign Jeremie Aliadiere. Again.

Gluttons for punishment

Remember Jeremie Aliadiere? Remember how rubbish he was?

Well, Tony Mowbray obviously doesn’t.

Aliadiere was released by Middlesbrough after his contract expired in June this year. The 27-year-old Frenchman was all set for a move back to London with West Ham before a knee ligament injury put him on the sidelines for eight months.

He’s since been trying to regain match fitness at Boro and following an hour long run out for the reserves on Tuesday, the Daily Mail are reporting gaffer Tony Mowbray is actually considering bringing him back to the club permanently.

Yeah. That’s it really. We just wondered if you remembered him. And how rubbish he was.

He wasn’t really ‘rubbish’ – he had some good points, but of course you tits know better- you who have never kicked a ball professionally. Knobs – as bad as Alan Green.

His record in his career to date: 158 games, 22 goals. 0.139 goals per game.

In other words, to match the goalscoring record of (to pick a name at random) his illustrious goalscoring predecessor at Boro, Jan Åge Fjørtoft, Aliadiere would have to play a total of 1370 games (give or take). And considering that he’s only managed around 15 games a season in his career so far, he’s going to be in his 92nd season as a professional footballer when he makes that milestone (assuming he keeps up his goalscoring ratio).

See? Maths can be used to prove anything that’s even remotely true,

*prays fervently that his maths is correct*

Not all about goals at the end of the day we used him mainly as a winger his pace is valued. He does all the donkey work for the goalscorers chases down works hard I want him back and meemz talks sense.
