Liverpool are going to be fine… says Caroline Wozniacki
Wozniacki (pronounced: Woz-nee-acki)
For those of you who draw the line at following women’s tennis, you’re missing out. These girls know how to play. There’s the Williams sisters, the leggy Russian one, the other leggy Russian one, the one who looks like a little boy, the one with the supermodel body and the Picasso face, the one who had her boobs reduced to a sea of groans, and then this one, Caroline Wozniacki – she’s from Denmark, and she’s basically the women’s tennis version of Lionel Messi right now.
Plus, she just so happens to be a Liverpool supporter. Should you so wish, after the jump you can read some of her kindly words on the club from a recent press conference (as reported in The Guardian). If not, you can just enjoy the picture up there ^, which finds her on the floor glancing at a tennis racket. Arty.
Question: Do you have any thoughts on the appointment of Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool?
Wozniacki: I’m hoping that that will give some positive energy into the guys, into the lads. I’m hoping things will turn and they’ll start winning more matches. It’s tough to be a supporter and see them having a hard time. But it’s a sport, and I’m sure it will turn sooner or later.
