The Premier League will be a little poorer next season without Edwin van der Sar standing in front of the Manchester United goal like some lanky hall of mirrors mash-up of Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle and Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys.
Earlier today, the former Fulham (?!) stopper announced he will be retiring at the end of the season, so what better excuse to show you a video of him doing some well good saves?

Oh My God! Life without seeing VDS standing tall between the posts every weekend will sux! How Much will i miss him and his genius saves! God bless Him!

VDS is like a gaint ALBATROS with hands spread like wings almost touching both posts.With him between the posts, sir alex had no problem whatsoever. Even at the age of 40, he was as agile like a hawk watching the proceedings from a distance and encouraging the forwarders all the time. It wud be difficult to for anyone to step into his shoes. God bless him.
