straight talking

Daniel Agger doesn’t believe in mincing his words

Daniel Agger is fast becoming one of The Spoiler’s favourite players. Not only does he have a massive Sistine Chapel-mocking Viking burial ground tattooed on his back (really) but he’s started to cut through the BS of the EPL with some straight talking.

About Liverpool under Roy Hodgson he said:

“Look at the team – we played awful, we were sh*t. When you look now every single player is better. But when we were losing, everybody was on top of us, everybody played bad.”

And then he had a pop at Fernando Torres saying:

“It is unacceptable to play for one of Liverpool’s arch-rivals. For a Dane, it’s about having respect for the club you play at. I am proud to be able to pull on my Liverpool jersey and will never go to another club in England. I will never go to Manchester United or Everton. It’s about respect for the club.”

He’s definitely got one thing right – he’ll never go to Man Utd…

Haha sub-united standard. So was Pique wasn’t he? That went well for United didn’t it.

    Pathetic comment.

lol does that make any sense mr anon?
its fairly common knowledge that pique wanted to return to barcelona, (he developed through the youth academy) and united either sold him or let his contract run out and lose him on a free transfer because his contract wouldnt be renewed.
regardless, even if he was sold because potential wasnt seen, it doesnt change the fact that lol, agger is sub-united standard.

    pathetic comment

loving the fact that one of the LFC players has the balls to come out and admit they were playing SH**E! Also loving Danny for giving Torres a smack.

Heard it all before. Give him an offer he can’t refuse and see what happens.

Maybe the Man Utd comment was about Reina…

“..the fact that lol, agger is sub-united standard. ”

Are you 10? Firstly, anyone, regardless of team loyalty, can see that Agger is a world class centre half.

Even from your parents house in Surrey you must be able to see it too.

Secondly, you, along with the author of this piece (that is presuming there WAS an author, rather than just a thousand monkey’s, sat at a thousand typewriters) are aptly showing how, even after all these years, United are still the small-time club they always were.

You, and all the other out of town United ‘supporters’ are the most hated out of any football fan, anywhere.

Who will you ‘support’ when Slur Alex keels over and you’re left with debt, disloyal mercenary players and not a lot else?

    Haha. Sad. Very sad.

Agger, like Skrtel are just another pair of brainless brutes that deludes themselves and their fans. Relying on dirty play, and justifying it as commitment.

    Much like Liverpool fans.
