There are bound to be moments in any relationship when you question why you’re involved. Your lovely partner probably hasn’t done anything nice for a while, that thing they do with the fork is getting rather annoying and you REALLY hate their friends. It’s probably time to ‘do one.’
However, occasionally they’ll do something that reminds you why you love them. It doesn’t matter if it’s a cheeky little smile or a grand romantic gesture – the old feelings will come flooding back and your faith in eternal love will be restored.
Anyway, Wayne Rooney scored a goal that reminded The Spoiler that football isn’t all about tupping and money. Oh, and before anyone says anything, it DEFINITELY DIDN’T come off his shin.

It hit Rooney’s shin…if you pause the replay as he hits it you can see. He catches it between foot and shin. Fluke!

Rooney’s is by far the best because he never had time to control with his chest or head before hitting the ball in flight!
