Lifting the lid

Ibrahimovic hates Guardiola but hearts Mourinho

Snog Marry Avoid?

Throughout your short but eventful time on earth, there are bound to be people who you’ve loved no matter what. Someone that – regardless of how horrible they are – you can’t let go.

The Spoiler felt that way about its first girlfriend – despite her cutting our best pencil case with a compass, we still wanted to tongue them behind the canteen. The b*tch. Now though – following a great interview with Eurosport – it’s the totally amazing Zlatan Ibrahimovic who we can’t bring ourselves to hate – despite him being a prime contender for Tool Academy Italia.

It doesn’t need much setting up, except to say it takes a person of superhuman confidence to suggest that possibly the best team ever should completely change their style to suit him.

Oh, and that Ibrahimovic is yet another player who completely loves Jose Mourinho – has there ever been someone who’s played for the Portuguese and not been prepared to do ANYTHING for him? (Apart from Glen Johnson)

Enjoy…

“In Barcelona I learnt that football can change very fast. My problem in Barcelona was one man – the ‘philosopher’. He was my problem. I didn’t have problem with anybody. There is nobody who can say that I did wrong.

“The first six months were fantastic. It was going very good and then something happened. I still don’t know what happened. I’m still waiting for the answer. A couple of months after the new year he didn’t speak to me anymore.”

“If you don’t have someone who stimulates you, you won’t fight for him. At Inter with Jose Mourinho, I could go out and kill for him – that was the motivation he gave me, that’s how he stimulated me.

“With other ones it was football, football… but you have to adjust the game to the players you have, especially when you buy a player for €70 million. You don’t buy him to watch the birds on the trees.”

The interview will be shown on Eurosport Monday 28th February.

It was a bad dumping, a sad break-up. He’s STILL in the ice cream and bathrobe phase. He needs a new hot leader or else he’s just ~lost~. Where in the world do you go after Mou AND Pep? Is God available?

Surely a switch to Inter and the totally delicious Leonardo would be the sensible option…

I need to stop reading Kickette…

Aaah, that’s true, Leonardo is a beautiful man. Though I suspect he’s not quite egomaniacal enough to really capture Zlatan’s heart. Maybe in a couple of seasons if Inter continue back up the ladder and Leonardo starts speaking of himself in 3rd person Zlatan will start getting hearts in his eyes.

And come on, we all know that no one goes to Kickette to read.

I only go to kickette for the articles, I swear!

But seriously wtf Zlatan? You’re the only person in the world that dislikes Pep.
