Man Utd PLC are absolutely hated and Fabio Capello needs to STFU

What’s not to love?

So, it turns out that Miss Marple, those Agatha Christie storybooks about a lovely old crime-solving English spinster is being made into a film by Disney. It will star Jennifer Garner as the Miss Marple. Sounds great.

Anyway, in relevant news, Manchester United have been voted the most hated company in Britain by the participants of some sort of poll or something…

According to The Online Opinions poll results, the Glazers, Sir Alex Ferguson, Wayne Rooney, et al are more despised than those bloody bankers at Lloyds and RBS and the gits at RyanAir.

Other things that people hate are American asses McDonalds and Starbucks, while British B@stards BT and British Gas are also hated by loads and loads of people. Well, the 1,000 people who could be bothered to take part in the survey, anyway.

Elsewhere, Fabio Capello has given the red tops another reason to give him a good kicking by suggesting he doesn’t need to speak that much English to communicate with the famously erudite and verbose English players. He said:

“If I need to speak about the economy or other things, I can’t do that. But when you speak about tactics, you don’t use a lot of words. I don’t have to speak about a lot of different things. The maximum I need is 100 words.”

Before anyone goes mental about things AGAIN, The Spoiler would just like to say the Fabio Capello is a bloody good manager who’s made a couple of mistakes. Let’s leave it at that and chill-the-f*ck-out.

David Schneider (the guy they cast in films when Rowan Atkinson is busy) had this to say on the matter:

“Capello says he only needs “100 words” to communicate with his players. Ferdinand only needs two to reply.”

Anyway, what do you make of it all? Do you hate Man Utd PLC? Do you hate Capello? Let us know with a cheeky little comment.

Kind of interesting that there is so much aggression toward the Italian Capello, who has won numerous titles with very important clubs, and has the English side winning even though the players don’t seem to give a shit, while the English Roy Hodgson, who has never done anything particularly important title-wise, was never shown the hate he deserved. Taking a team as talented as Liverpool and leading them toward relegation, disgraceful… How about that?

In related news….74% of those surveyed LOVE Manchester United.

While I believe Roy was not good enough for the job, he didn’t have much to work with. Ownership changed after he was employed and he was sacked before the Winter transfer window. I’m pretty sure he got lots of that abuse that you so much love. I wouldn’t be hyped if my fans were cheering for another manager to take my job.

Thought this was about ManU. Funny how the red Mickeys can turn everything round to focus on their own little navel-gazing universe.

According to a poll I just took this afternoon, 37% of Americans who love soccer know who Dimitar Berbatov is.

He’s the guy who starred opposite Robert Vaughn in THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
