Mancini has a word with The Spoiler’s Mario Balotelli

Cool Under Heat

Showing he has a firmer grasp of the English language than Fabio ‘100 words’ Capello, fellow Italian Roberto Mancini has told our favouritest player ever, Mario Balotelli, to sort himself out.

Taking his inspiration from The Clash’s rubbish final album ‘Cut the Crap’ (‘This is England’ is good, mind), Mancini has told his compatriot to, well, cut the crap…

Balotelli has promised on an almost weekly basis to amend his behaviour from absolutely mental to slightly eccentric, but there have been more false dawns than at a Vicar of Dibley lookalike convention.

It’s got to such a point that the normally unflappable Mancini has resorted to using nearly-swearwords to show how frustrated he’s becoming with his £24 million lunatic. Speaking in The Sun, he said:

“He is 20 and at that age people do crap things. But maybe now the time has come for him to help himself and to understand the mistakes he is making.

“Otherwise he risks throwing away his abilities which are immense. He has scored some beautiful goals this season. He should think only about expressing his talents on the pitch and leaving to one side the other matters which have nothing to do with football.

“If he does not, then everybody in England will begin to make him a target – starting off with the referees.

“I understand him and everybody has infinite patience with Mario. Everyone at Manchester City has always helped him and wish him the best.”

Infinite patience? That sounds like a challenge to us, Mario…

I understand he has psychological problems and everybody wants Mario to become an instant patient at a Manchester city mental hospital so he can get the help he so obviously needs.”
