Really? Really? REALLY?

Michael Jackson statue at Fulham is even worse than we dared hope

Oh, holy sweet mother…

There are some lovely statues around the ground of English football. The one at Old Trafford of Best, Law and Charlton is very nice, while the West Ham one of Moore, Hurst and Peters is bloody lovely.

However, this is horrible. This looks like those packs of clay cartoon figurines you got as a kid and were expected to paint to make them look exactly as they did on the packet.

That never worked, and this Jacko monstrosity certainly doesn’t.

    What a monstrosity. Simply horrendous.

That’s a very flattering statue to a freak, I’m sure the the Footy fans would much rather have had my lifesize Kylie statue. I’d prefer to see her outside Twickenham personally. See her here:-

i give it a week until it is vandalised.

My vandalism of choice would be to be covered in black and white paint.

    That or JCB’d to death!

    Best Tweet:

@Ife Fatunase: “‘Go to hell’ is Mohammed Al Fayed’s msg to Fulham fans who don’t like Michael Jackson statue. Aren’t they already there?”

Mohamed Al-Fayed can do what the f**k he likes, so go f**k yourselves!

That’s a two match ban Steve!

I really hope that this is repeatedly vandalised in creative ways. It would drive AlFayed mad to have a kid statue welded to its groin. For instance.

I suppose this would be classed as fairground art, does it play one of his tunes as well I wonder. Mmmm I can smell fried onions and hot dogs already.

even if it looks like a toy on a positive note fayed’s intentions are good. hopefully people will respect fayeds choice, intentions and the stadium.
