I can believe he hasn't been called up, because its the same old s**t with English football. Pick the bigget names from the biggest teams, thats why everyone seemed to be dumbfounded when Matt Jarvis got a call up. Newcastle players always get overlooked, Nolan at the minute is the 4th top scorer in the league 12 league games, 12 goals, and he will not get picked, because we are too far north. Ridiculous. and ROSS, Newcastle are one of the better teams in the Premier league, just been promoted, spent roughly 10 million on being promoted, Ben Arfa (£6mil) Tiote (£4mil), Dan Gosling(free) Sol Campbell(free) and James Perch(hopefully free) included yet we are currently 9th and have had some fantastic results, 6-0, 5-0, 4-4 at arsenal, 5-1 mackems, and 3-1 and l'pool, we also have 2nd best goal difference 7th-20th. Now Barton is a good midfielder. But he's only a good midfielder FOR NEWCASTLE because he fits in with the remainder of the, 'not so good team'. All in all I think he's a grade A tit. It's been too rigid for too long. Fabio changes to a 4-3-3 and things seem to look much better. People, including the press, couldn't seem to believe it.
