There’s a whiff of 3 day old fish about Wenger. Perhaps he should be kicked upstairs which would also give him more time to enjoy hsi extracurricular activities.

you mean the guy that took over the team that has a 50/50 chance of winning the portuguese league every year won in his first year? yeah, they should drop Wenger for him. winning the league with Porto is definitely equivalent to taking a team from 5th to 1st in your first two years in the EPL – and then keeping them in the top two for the next 8 years.

can’t tell which you know less about: portuguese or english football history.

I hope Arsenal remains a team that doesn’t want to pay big transfer fees but will pay big wages to keep their stars. Unfortunately, I don’t think this strategy can apply to keepers. Would be curious to hear SK expound on his thierry of team ownership in the EPL.

Truer words have never been spoken?:

What’s English about Arsenal? The ownership? Is that how you define a team? Good thing they have Wilshere, otherwise there wouldn’t be any English presence on the field. Well, except for when Walcott is used as a sub in between the times he isn’t out injured for God only knows what. Everyone knows that Arsenal is the best French team playing in the Premier League.
