Paying a fortune for a guy and playing him when he cant score? Or paying a fortune for a guy who hasnt panned out but the year he does and LEADS the league in goals, he's benched for a third of the season? The first option is very common and its normal when you think about it. People want to get their moneys worth. I have yet to see a sport where the league top scorer is benched for so long. Well maybe ice hockey where th phrase 'hes only a goalscorer' is very fashionable. Of course, hockey is a sport where men wear garter belts to hold their socks up and every scandal is of some manager diddling some 'young'16-17 boy and the lads love to play strip penalties where the loser gets to take his clothes off. Considering the rumblings out of Atletico from Aguero and Forlan, among other players around Europe, I don't see how there couldn't have been a better option.
