Holloway to West Ham, Essien to Milan and other bits…
Rosie – Sexy
So, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been voted the sexiest woman in the world – despite being only the fourth sexiest in the picture above.
Anyway, here’s some less sexy but actually relevant news about summer transfers from the chaps and chapettes at the Daily Mirror and the Lords and Ladies at the Guardian…
According to the aforementioned Guardian, West Ham United have already drawn up a shortlist of managers to replace Avram Grant
when if the Irons get relegated at the end of the season.
The list includes names such as Neil Warnock (staying with QPR), Paul Lambert (staying with Norwich), Slaven Bilic (staying with Croatia) and Martin O’Neill (staying in bed).
The most interesting though is the name of cheeky chappy Ian Holloway. He’s done a bloody good job with Blackpool and – as he points out all too regularly – they’ve done well to even be in with a chance of survival with three games left.
If Blackpool go down, The Spoiler reckons he’ll be on his way to the Boleyn quicker than you can come up with an hilarious quip about… something or other.
However, life-long West Ham fan Chris Hughton is also in the frame and may be in with a shout. Actually, sod it, CHRIS HUGHTON WILL BE THE NEXT WEST HAM BOSS. He fits all the criteria for us. That’s our neck on the line above the parapet.
Elsewhere, The Daily Mirror reckons that AC Milan are going to try and get Michael Essien in the summer. The Ghanaian has three years left on his contract and is going nowhere.
Finallly, Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero could be off to Chelsea or Tottenham, while Spurs look set to join Arsenal and chase for Lille striker Gervinho.
