According to talkSPORT, Manchester United’s quest to get a replacement for Edwin van der Saar could already be over. The be-mulleted Gerry Armstrong reckons United have already agreed a fee for the Atletico Madrid stopper David de Gea.
They certainly have a better shot at signing him than they do Manuel Neuer. German newspaper Bild believe Bayern Munich have put in an improved offer of around £18 million for Schalke’s 25-year-old goalkeeper.
