There have been quite a lot of bicycles in the 2nd half of the season and Rooney’s isnt much different from others but the Zahavi one stands out because the player didnt use his left foot like he should have done with the ball coming from the left corner instead he used his right foot and added an extra degree of difficulty (because he didnt trust his left foot) to it.

Was the Messi goal when RM was a player short?

Messi’s is the right choice. Bicycle kicks are much more about luck than skill – Messi is all skill.

Yea, to be honest, there may be more of a case for Messi… MAY.

However, I remember watching Rooney’s goal in the pub and it came out of nowhere – he was rubbish for the previous XX minutes and eveyone was completely amazed by it.

Messi suffers from being too good in a way. Actually, that’s a rubbish excuse. Basically… Oh, I don’t know.

Maybe you’re right, MH and JS. Maybe.

Messi’s was against superior opposition in a far more important game (let’s remember, ManU won the league by 9 points, not 1).
