Alexis Sanchez takes horrible dive to win a penalty
DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!
As you probably know, the sports papers in Spain aren’t shy about letting their readership know who they totally prefer out of Real Madrid or Barcelona – Sport and El Mundo Deportivo absolutely love Barca, while AS are firmly in the pristine white Real camp.
It should come as no surprise then that AS’s website ran a story about Alexis Sanchez flying to Barcelona for talks with the European champions directly above this clip which is titled something along the lines of ‘Scandalous dive from Chile’s Alexis Sanchez’.
Hard to disagree with them mind…

I hate diving and and as a Barca fan I’m well against Busquets’ and Alves’ theatrics but to claim that we are a team full of divers is false, Pedro did it ONCE in his whole career and now all of a sudden he’s a ‘diver’. I wish we, as football journalists, were more fair with our judgments and report on everyone who does it like English players too e.g. Gerrard, Rooney (few times, but prominent) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVb2gbMtN3I

Hooray another diving player to join cheating Barca. I have to agree with andrew above that the British press love labelling any Johny Foreigner as a diver but put a halo above the English players who do it.
