I sat down in my basement to watch England play Morocco. I thought it was going to be an easy win for the George, but it ended in a tie that Morocco should have won by several goals. It was then that I became one of the first North Americans to realize that the English aren't very good at football. Unfortunately, they've gotten much much worse in the past 25 years. On the plus side, if you show up in America with an English accent, we'll believe anything you say! I still remember that world cup. I sat down in my basement to watch England play Morocco.
