The Spoiler helps Wash & Go pick the Great Britain football team
Hmm…
Last night, The Spoiler was kindly invited by Wash & Go to take part in a debate with actual other people about the GB football team that will disappoint the nation at the Olympics.
It went pretty much as you’d imagine – The Spoiler sat there overawed by people who had opinions and knew how to articulate them, while we just mumbled and said things like:
“Yea, well, dunno really.”
People even turned up with paper and pens. The Spoiler didn’t. We spent most of the evening trying to see what the guy next to us had written – on his iPad!
Anyway, the debate was chaired by the delightfully coiffured Chris Kamara who was taking a break from talking with middle-aged men about football, to talk with slightly younger people about football.
The team we decided on is above.

My two thoughts were:
(1) ‘Who is the Jones at RB?’; and (mainly) (2) ‘I’m so pleased to find a post not by Michael Lintorn’.
