Yes Clichy is 25 and experienced, but so what - he still made tons of mistakes and was NEVER a calming influence. Look at Djourou who has less first team experience and has surpassed Clichy in defensive competence now. Look at Gibbs who is in no way inferior to Clichy's meek output and is only 19 or 20.
