As much as The Spoiler agrees that the grandeur of the occasion features prominently in whatever clever formula determines how great a goal is, it will be tough to find another in the second half of 2011 that we enjoy watching as much as this audacious effort from Yossi Benayoun against Wycombe. His flick-fest strike was so stunning that it even overshadowed Fernando Torres scoring only his second ever goal in a Chelsea shirt in the same game.

    Has the spoiler died? 5 days since the last update, either that or the Fabregas transfer saga has caused all the journalists to consider other careers.
