Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Samurai look enjoys winning debut

What new season? Here’s what caught our eye this weekend…

Of the many matches that The Spoiler watched this weekend, the most enjoyable was the Supercoppa Italia clash between Milan and Inter, which was won 2-1 by the champions.

It featured several classy goals, the usual horror lunges by Gennaro Gattuso and Thiago Motta – greeted with greater leniency in a glorified friendly – a few glimpses of magic from Inter new boy Ricky Alvarez and some ill-advised slit-eyed gestures by Robinho and Alexandre Pato in the Beijing-staged game.

But above all else, the thing that caught our eye the most was alleged big-match bottler Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who scored another Derby della Madonnina goal naturally – showing off a stunning new samurai look (which has been on display in other friendlies, yet this was our first sighting).

At first glance, it looks as awful as some of his play at the Bird’s Nest was sublime, though it does kind of suit him. We reckon it’s a grower, unlike the Rossoneri’s latest home kit…

Some players do colored hair, some do mohawks, Zlatan has the heart(hair) of a Samurai.
