Lure of the sauce too strong for troubled Inter Milan striker

Inter Milan’s wayward Brazilian striker Adriano, who spent much of last year in a passionate relationship with alcohol, was spotted trying to rekindle the flames of that romance over Christmas. The player, whose name not so long ago supposedly appeared on Sven’s Manchester City wish list, was packed off to Brazil for treatment at the end of last year when his drinking got the better of him.

Adriano was loaned out to Sao Paolo and began his time with the club by holding a press conference, in which he swore his drinking days were behind him. Later that day, he also found time to go to a party with Fred West-alike Ronaldo and enjoy a few delicious Skols. Like his taste in seventies lager, Adriano also displayed a number of seduction techniques from that decade, at one point declaring his intentions by taking one lucky lady firmly by the jaw.
