This ex-Page 3 girl is now a self-professed ‘Diva SuperWAG’

If you were lucky enough to pick up a copy of Britain’s fourth favourite tabloid, The Daily Star, this morning, you would have seen lower league WAG Nicola McLean adorning the front page. The 25-year-old is from Swansea, and is the current beau of Peterborough’s Tommy Williams. At 10pm tonight she will explain why she is ‘always gorgeous’ in Channel Five’s Help! I’ve got a high maintenance wife.

As you can probably guess from the title of tonight’s factual documentary, Nicola is a self-confessed pain in the arse for her long-suffering boyfriend. She claims to be prone to screaming tantrums, and won’t order her own food at restaurants (she once phoned her boyfriend up so he could order a takeaway Chinese for her). Plus, her Draconian policies on make-up means her man has never actually seen how her face really looks. She goes to bed wearing full slap, applies a fresh coat when she wakes up and yet another at midday. “Even when I was in labour I had my full face on, hair straightened and perfect nails. I’m so proud of that,” she boasts.

She goes as far as to cite a lack of make-up as the reason for so many failed marriages: “If people took my advice there’d be a lot more happily married people out there. I might start a campaign!”

Nicola is actually one of The Sun’s most prolific Page Three girls, having appeared over 300 times in a period of five years. She claims to have retired from bearing all on the inside page in 2005 in order to have her first child, (named after her favourite film, Rocky), but it probably had more to do with her 32GG boob job and The Sun’s strict anti-silicone policy.
