Brazil’s latest boy genius Kerlon, also known as the Seal Kid for his ability to run through defences bouncing the ball on his head, has found once again to his cost that defences don’t much care for people who do that. Kerlon Moura Souza, who plays for Cruzeiro and has appeared for the Under-18 national side, has apparently attracted the attention of Manchester United and Inter Milan.

He has also attracted the attention of boulder-footed Brazilian centre backs who have little time for Seal Kids and others who take the mick, and he has once again been sidelined with a nasty knee injury.
