The first lady of Liverpool is playing her part in the Capello regime

Some people are taking Fabio Capello’s ban on WAGs much more seriously than others. Wayne Rooney’s missus is currently keeping her distance in the Caribbean sun, while Alex Curran had to choose between watching her husband’s first international captaincy, and laying on a beach in Dubai. Stevie G was glancing up at an empty seat at Wembley last night, because the feisty former nail technician chose the latter.

Alex and her boobs are currently shacked up in a £2k-per-night luxury villa, that comes complete with its own butler. Joining her in the lush holiday pad are Jude Cisse (wife of Djibril) and Thierry Henry’s ex Claire Merry (pictured).

Alex clearly has plenty of WAG friends, however she doesn’t count Jamelia among them: Darren Byfield’s fiancé personally attacked Ms. Curran and labelled her a ‘leech’. In response, Alex gave the readers of OK! Magazine a fascinating insight into her and her partner’s ignorance:

“She’ll be glad to know I don’t know her boyfriend’s name but Steven thinks he’s lower than a non-league player.”

Um, Byfield kinda plays for Bristol City and used to play for Villa.

Alex has had more contact with the police than most Community Support Officers. In 2006, she was arrested on an assault charge after a teenage girl was struck in the face with a glass bottle during a fight in a Liverpool restaurant. She also aided the spate of Liverpool FC burglaries by advertising her hubby’s brand new £10k watch in Closer Magazine. She was confronted by masked burglars in her home when they popped over to collect it.
